Toyota Recall Affected Models

Bookmark and Share

It's not looking good for Toyota. The gas pedal related recall has now been extended to some Europpean and Chinese models. Toyota also expanded the floor mat recall but they say unitended accleration from unsecured floor mats is a different problem than the latest problem. Due to a problem with accelerator mechanism, the number one automaker has halted sales of several popular modesls. If you have one of the cars listed below, contact your dealer and see about getting a new part. Toyota officials say that the problem is not sudden but rather a wear issue and that an owner will notice gradually over time. If you have felt the gas pedal in your Toyota stick or if it just doesn't feel right, don't drive the car and get it to a Toyota dealer. Toyota says cars that have experienced no problems are still safe to drive.
