Here Some Questions That Are Often Ask About Car Concerns FFI Products.
Q1: LPG is one of our main fuels in taxis and buses here in Australia. Is it safe to use the MPG-CAPSTM in these vehicles that run on Liquid Petroleum Gas?
A1: It is safe and we have had good results. The challenge is finding a good method of getting the product in the pressurized system.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q2: I am conducting tests with MPG-MEGA-CRUMBSTM on city buses here in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am using the recommended 5 grams of CRUMBS for 455 liters of diesel fuel. I pre-dissolve the CRUMBS in a plastic bottle of 10 liters of gasoline before putting them in a still tank of 6,000 liters of diesel. Please note that here in Brazil gasoline has 25% of hydrated alcohol and 550 ppm. Am I using the correct protocol for the fuel mixture? Approximately how long should I keep doing the tests before the results of diesel economy should increase?
A2: Your dosage is correct and you should see results within 2 or 3 tanks of fuel burned.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q3: In my country natural gas vehicles are common. But these vehicles also use some other combustible like gasoline or alcohol. I know I can not put MPG-CAPSTM in the Natural Gas cylinders, but I can put it in the other reservoirs. When doing so people have noticed a benefit with the MPG-CAPSTM with Natural Gas. My question is if there is a special protocol to keep an engine conditioned while using gasoline with the CAPS from time to time in order to give the benefits of the product when using Natural Gas?
A3: My suggestion would be to use the product in each fuel when it is burned. The conditioning we talk about will remain for some period of time during switches from various fuels. Just dose each fuel constantly with the normal recommended dose.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q4: Don't the MPG-CAPSTM cause an engine to run cooler due to the fact that the fuel is ignited earlier in the combustion process? Therefore, it would seem that the engine does not have to heat up to as high a temperature to ignite those larger molecules. This in turn would cause a lower ambient temperature of the engine. I feel your answer to the person asking about this in "Ignition" this past was not fully explained. I think the cooling system is not the focal point here, but it is the quicker, more complete, earlier ignition of the fuel that is the real point. Am I not correct? Please advise.
A4: The product does cause a more even complete burn in the combustion chamber and gives us a longer effective power stroke. The overall temperature of the flame remains relatively flat. The coolant does maintain the engine temperature.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q5: Thanks for your Answer to Question #3 in this past June 27th issue of “Ignition.”
Q3: Although the MPG-CAPSTM and the Trucker's Vials are supposed to be the same, I have noticed that they are not the same in dosage. The dosage rate on the CAPS is .5 grams to 80 liters fuel. To equate that to the Vials you times it by 10 to give you 5 grams. A 5 gram amount of CAPS would dose 800 liters but the 5 gram Vials only dose 455 liters. Why is there such a big difference? If that difference is correct, what dosage would you recommend on large trucks? We are getting good results with smaller vehicles but less with large trucks. Can you explain?
A3: The truckers have used varied doses and we have found that 1 gram for 40 gallons is a good average. Therefore use 1 gram per 40 gallons or 1 gram per 120 liters as a good average. In some cases you can use less, but I believe this will work on most trucks.
However, I am still at a loss of exactly what you recommend for the large truck dosage. In your answer to the question you state to dose 1 gram to 40 gallons or 120 liters, but according to my math isn't 40 gallons equal to 181 liters? Also, is this the truckers MPG-MEGA-CRUMBSTM or the MPG-CAPSTM? I think it is very important to get the dosage correct on the trucks here in South Africa so the truckers will get positive results. Please give me the most specific answer you can.
A5: Actually, 40 US gallons is 160 liters. The 120 number was a mistake. I use 4 liters per US gallon. It is slightly less than 4 but I round it to 4.
