2010 Suzuki Kizashi

Bookmark and Share

Suzuki's 2010 Kizashi is unlike any Suzuki before it. Even a quick mention of the features found on the top of the line SLS Kizashi will have the average buyer thinking VW or maybe even Audi but certainly not Suzuki. Three level seat heaters, push button start, rain sensing wipers, 10-speaker Rockford-Fosgate stereo, full iPod integration and a six-speed manual transmission all wrapped in very attractive body may not sound like a $25,000 Suzuki but that's exactly what you get here. Of course there are less expensive versions - the $24,000 sportier GTS version will likely be a top seller for Suzuki.

Skeptical? You should be - most of the time cars like this are nothing more than econo-penalty boxes on wheels and no amount of electronic gadgets can make them even a little bit bearable. Yet the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi is a remarakably sophisticated car that will have you re-thinking all compact sedans. The ride is composed, handling is crisp and there's more than enough punch from the 2.4 liter, four cylinder engine. It's good for 180 hp and there's even a little bit of an exhaust note too.

Big thumbs up all around for the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. It's a remarkably competent car that offers features normally reserved for pricier European imports. Consider the Kizashi GTS or SLS instead of a Honda Civic Si or Toyota Corolla S.
